The "Bob Hudson Achievement Award for Canadian Scale Aerobatics" was created in 2008 to acknowledge achievements made by Canadian Scale Aerobatic pilots. The inaugural award was presented to Bob Hudson himself by Sam Filipelli in August 2008 during the Canadian Scale Aerobatic Nationals banquet in Sudbury. Through his efforts Bob was instrumental helping to organize the Scale Aerobatic community in Canada. The seed which he planted was nurtured by many and has grown into the strong aerobatic community we now enjoy today.
