I'm looking forward to the 2009 Nats! Question: is there scheduled flying on Friday, i.e. I need to be there on the Friday during the day? Sorry for the noobie question. Do you know the full schedule for the weekend yet?

Thanks!

Hi Jim! Welcome to Scale Aerobatics!

The competition starts on Friday morning, we'll have a pilot's meeting probably around 8:30am, and the first rounds should start around 9am, until about 5pm. Same thing on Saturday, and then Sunday we'll finish the day earlier in the afternoon to give out the awards and give a chance to everybody to hit the road at a reasonable time.

Thursday the field will be open for practice alongside the regular club members.

Friday night we'll have a steak dinner at the field and Saturday night a celebration banquet with lots of door prizes from our awesome sponsors, including a plane from Aeroworks!

Are you coming? If so don't forget to pre-register and send in your fee so that I can order your pilot t-shirt and other goodies, and let me know if you'd like additional banquet tickets.

Let us know if you have any questions, this is what this website is all about, see you soon and once again welcome to Scale Aerobatics!
