All classes flown, Basic through Unlimited, IMAC rules, pilot judged, awards for all classes. Note that we will be doing sound level checks before your first round outlined in the ground sound level method of section 5 of the AMA RC Scale Aerobatics ruleswhich may disqualify noisy planes from flying. Some pertinent excerpts: Section 5.1: Maximum Sound Levels. The maximum ground sound level for all classes shall be: 96dBA measured on soft surfaces and 98dBA measured on hard surfaces. 5.3: Ground Sound Level Test. . . . . No model will fly any judged sequences at any Scale Aerobatics contest until it passes the Ground Sound Level Test. Where? Rideau RC Flyers Phelan Park - Limited camping available, no hook-ups. Flying is between 9am and 4pm Saturday, and 9am and noon on Sunday. Proof of MAAC or AMA membership is required. IMAC membership optional. $30 entry fee, payable Saturday morning before the event.
