To everyone that is CD'ing a contest in the NE region,
So far this year I have had a couple of contests where the scores were not correct, IMAC, AMA and MAAC numbers were missing or transposed into the wrong place and a host of other little things.
It is up to the CD to make sure that all information is correct and that the scores are sent to me for approval within 7 days of the end of the contest.
It is important to remember that even if a pilot does not fly a round, you still must create scores for that round for that pilot that are all zero's. There is a checkbox at the bottom of the spot where you enter each pilots scores to mark them all as zero's if that is the case.
Also, regional points are based on IMAC numbers only, I cannot stress enough how important that is to make sure the regional points that belong to a given pilot are correct.
I have no problem correcting minor issues like the IMAC/AMA/MAAC numbers if I have them, but I cannot put scores in.
I am offering everyone the opportunity to send me the scores on Saturday night of each contest and I'll go over them to see what needs fixed before the end of the contest. However, I need at least 3 days notice if you want me to do that so that I can make sure I am available for you.
I also would like to remind you that I can easily pre-configure the Score program for your event and will gladly do that, this helps me when it comes time to check everything. I also posted the most current allpilots.dat file on my own website, this is a huge time saver for importing pilots into the score program.
